HAP Checks

Payments are deposited into Landlords account within the first five (5) calendar days of the month or are available for pick up from the office after the second (2) business day of the month. HAP checks are not mailed.

The family is responsible to pay the difference between HAPB’s payment amount and the total contract rent. The family’s portion of rent is paid directly to the Landlord. Landlord may not charge the family in excess of the family's portion of rent. Landlord must not collect rent for unoccupied units.

HAP Contract must be completed by the Landlord before any payment can be issued
