Blanche Ely Estates located at 1618 NW 6th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL 33060
with 110 units and Ben Turner Ridge located on 10th Street between Dixie Highway
and NW 3rd Avenue with 10 units. Both sites are in the process of demolition due
to irreparable extensive damages from Hurricane Wilma in 2005.

We have 947 vouchers to assist very low to extremely low income families by
subsidizing their rent and allowing flexibility to the location in the private
rental market. Currently no applications are being accepted and the waiting list is closed.
Low Income Housing Tax Credit
A partnership was formed with Pinnacle Housing Group to develop new construction housing for
low and moderate income families. Golden Square is located at 1415 NW 18th Drive, Pompano Beach,
FL 33069 with 182 units and Golden Villas located at 1325 NW 18 Drive, Pompano Beach, FL 33069
with 102 units. Applications are being accepted.
United States Dept of Agriculture Farm Labor
Golden Acres Farm Labor Development is located at 1050 NW 18th Drive, Pompano Beach, FL 33069
with 176 units. It is funded by USDA and was developed to provide housing for domestic farm laborers.

The Housing Authority of Pompano Beach Affordable Housing Corporation is a non-profit established
within HAPB. The corporation goals are in the areas of homeownership, rental and homeless housing.
