I have a Section 8 voucher, and I am interested in moving to another city. Can I take my voucher with me?
Yes, it is possible to port with your voucher. You must contact both your current Housing Authority and the Housing Authority in the city you are interested in moving to for the details.

What if I have special needs?
Please tell us if you need assistance of any kind to access our services, and let us know if you need special features in your housing. For example, we can often provide large print materials, wheelchair accessibility and customized interviews. If you need an interpreter or a translator, tell us, and we will provide one for you. We will make every effort to meet your needs.

How can I rent my home to a Section 8 tenant?
You'll need to contact your local public housing agency to find out how to rent to Section 8 participants in your area or post your property on www.gosection8.com

What happens after I rent to the family?
Every year HAPB will determine whether the family is still eligible for the program during their annual reexamination and if the unit still meets HQS standards during the annual inspection.
