Groundskeeper

 Section 8 Specialist                                                                  
 Full-Time position.  The Housing Authority of Pompano Beach is seeking experienced candidates for the Section 8 Specialist position.  The Section 8 Specialist is responsible for performing all assigned duties, including, but not limited to interviewing applicants/client, processing applications, verifying income and determining eligibility, conducting briefings, issuing vouchers, rent calculations, processing recertifications, interim changes and/or moves.    Duties also include routine office work, maintaining accurate folders, regular contact and correspondence with tenants and landlords, and dispute resolution.  Must exhibit a high degree of interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, mathematical inclination, and demonstrate computer literacy.  Must be professional, highly motivated, multi-task oriented, good organizational skills, and a fast learner.  Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations is required.  Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and DMV report must meet Authority’s standards.  Please attach your resume to the application and forward it to pompanoha@hapb.org  or fax it to 954-785-7219.
